The Solo dinghy was introduced in 1973 and ever since has been a strong single handed fleet involving some accomished sailors. In 1984, Simon Cray won the National Championships at Brixham in Solo 3406. Peter Brook, below, won the Midlands Area championship in 3676 at about the same time. 15.
